Rumiana Bachvarova: Currently Bulgaria does not face any terrorist threat

We were informed that some terrorist attempted to reach Western Europe through Bulgarian territory, Bulgaria’s outgoing Minister of Interior Rumiana Bachvarova announced. However, Rumiana Bachvarova underlined that no immediate terrorist threat was posed on Bulgaria. Minister Bachvarova added that the authorities have not received information about possible terrorist attack in Bulgaria. We have not received information about possible terrorist attacks against Bulgarian diplomatic missions abroad. However, the Ministry of Interior is ready to react to such incidents, Rumiana Bachvarova added.
