Code Yellow for 12 regions across Bulgaria

CodeYellow has been proclaimed in 12 regions of the country overstrong wind, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences alerts.

The regions are: Pleven,Lovech, Gabrovo,Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Razgrad, Silistra and Shumen.

Really strong northwest wind with gusts over 20 m/s is expected across many regions.

Cirizens should be careful, limiting or avoiding any outdoor activities due to the danger of flying objects.

The wind will be torrential in the mountains, the Mountain Rescue Service - Bulgarian Red Cross has reported.

No incidents have occurred so far.
