The Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics group team won a full set of medals at the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. After winning the gold in the all-around yesterday, today the girls from the team coached by Vesela Dimitrova and Mihaela Maevska grabbed the silver in the 2 ropes and 3 balls and a bronze in the 5 hoops.

Simona Dyankova, Elena Bineva, Laura Traats, Madlen Radoukanova and Teodora Alexieva made mistakes and so scored 17.350 points in the 2 ropes and 3 balls combination. The gold went to the gymnasts from Ukraine who scored 18.200 points.

In the 5 hoops finals the Bulgarian girls were given 18.650 points due to a slight inaccuracy in their presentation. The first and the second in the rankings - the teams from Italy and Belarus - won 18.700 points each, but due to a higher performance score, Italy grabbed the gold, leaving the silver to Belarus.
