Ministry for Bulgarian 2018 EU Presidency to become operational on 2 June

The Ministry of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2018 will become operational on 2 June this year, Minister Lilyana Pavlova who is going to be in charge of it announced. The key meetings of the Bulgarian Presidency during the first half of 2018 will be about 1500 and will be held in Brussels. There will be about 200 meetings in Bulgaria. One of the priority topics of the Presidency will be the Western Balkans. The second important topic and priority will be the future of the cohesion policy and its tools in the aftermath of 2020, Lilyana Pavlova explained.
