The record high number of 2,804 participants have applied for the 34th edition of the Sofia Marathon, held on October 15, said Organizational Secretary of Sofia 2018 Anatoli Iliev at a press conference. 700 foreign guests from 5 continents will take part in the race, which includes starts at 42,195 m, 21,098 m and 10,550 m. The Sofia Marathon will give a total of EUR 30,000 in prize money. The start and finish of the race will be in front of the Vassil Levski National Stadium.
