President Radev urges OECD to acknowledge Bulgaria’s efforts to become full member

At a meeting with Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev urged the organization to acknowledge the efforts Bulgaria has been making in recent years towards full membership.

President Radev pointed out that Bulgaria’s bid to become a member has the support of all 22 EU countries which are also part of the OECD. Angel Gurría confirmed the organization’s willingness for enhanced cooperation with Bulgaria during the country’s presidency of the Council of the EU.
