Milonga parties, demonstrations and workshops for tango dancers will mark the International Day of Tango in Sofia. Celebrations have been organized for the 14th time and will go on from 8 to 10 December. The culmination will be the traditional Tango Ball. For the first time this year though the official event will be held on the eve of the International Day of Tango (11 December). Special guests will be Giovanni Cocomero and Lorena Tarantino – a young and talented couple of dancers and teachers of Argentine tango from Italy. They are going to give a gala show at the Ball and four seminars to tango dancers. For the tango celebrations the professional tango dancer from Mexico Alonso Alvarez will arrive to Bulgaria for a demonstration with Bulgarian dancer Maria Uzunova at the milonga on 8 December.
