Rumen Radev: The excellent relations between Bulgaria and China must take shape in practical dimensions

Bulgaria and China maintain excellent political relations based on mutual trust and respect. It became clear at a meeting in Sofia between Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and the Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Chen Yuan. Bulgaria supports the One Belt, One Road initiative of the Chinese President Xi Jinping aimed at improving the coherence between Europe and Asia and wants to become part of it, President Radev pointed out. It also became clear during the meeting that the potential of bilateral cooperation should be fulfilled in a pragmatic manner through investments in Bulgarian technology and industrial zones and research and development centers.
