Websites blocked over counterfeit goods trade

Anti-mafia police from the department combating cybercrime have blocked websites over trade in counterfeit goods parallel to sales in stores and companies in the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach.

Hundreds of articles have been confiscated bearing the logos of international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Guess, Puma, Hugo Boss, Nike, adidas etc.

As a result of regular action against offenders of intellectual property, copyright and related rights, in May 2018 Bulgaria was taken off the so-called Special 301 Report for protection of intellectual property of the United States Trade Representative.
