From October 5 to 7, the Fine Arts Faculty of the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo is organizing a hot glass workshop. The workshop will take place at a specialized studio, and will be open to students as well as to members of the public wishing to experience the magic of this form of art.
Guest lecturer Boris Speisman from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem will demonstrate the “tricks of the trade’. Stained glass is on the “Mural painting” curriculum of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the university, and has a 50-year long history. Faculty students are currently working on a stained window for a large cathedral in the town of Lovech – acknowledgement of their excellent training.
