Bulgaria invites Portuguese investors

Bulgaria and Portugal can boost bilateral trade through an online platform for exchange of information between the investment promotion agencies, as well as through more business and information meetings, the Portuguese companies recommended at a meeting in Lisbon with Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev. Bulgaria and Portugal are not big markets, but they have the potential to join efforts, in order to increase exports of their companies to Europe and other regions, the representatives of the local business pointed out. One of the Portuguese companies bought factories in Bulgaria for manufacture of glassware and is planning to invest EUR 300 million to expand production capacity and launch regional management and accounting office, BTA informs.
