Rumen Radev: Innovation is reflection of level of national ambitions

Innovation is a reflection of the level of the national ambitions for the future and of the important interaction between the state institutions, business, science and education in each country, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev said at the 2018 awards of the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT) held under the auspices of the Bulgarian head of state. The founder of the educational online platform Ucha.Se (I Learn) Darin Madjarov won the special contribution prize. The platform offers pupils over 14,000 video courses, covering 97% of the school subjects, used by over 500,000 students and teachers. Two reporters from the Bulgarian National Radio- Dobromir Videv and Flora Velcheva won the BAIT award with "Decoded" radio series about young Bulgarians working in the IT sector abroad.
