Sofia Award bestowed on eminent Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi

The Sofia Award was bestowed on the eminent Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi during the opening of the 23rd edition of Sofia Film Fest at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Krzysztof Zanussi thanked for this high recognition and pointed out that his longtime fondness for Bulgaria materialized in this award. The Sofia Film Fest will continue until March 28 with its traditional editions in Burgas, Plovdiv and Varna. The award ceremony will be held on March 16.
