Sofia and Belgrade to continue developing positive bilateral relations

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva and Serbia’s Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović discussed in Sofia the Bulgaria-Serbia bilateral relations and topics of mutual interest in transport and power engineering. Ministers Zaharieva and Joksimović voiced hopes that the new positive spirit of the Bulgaria-Serbia relations will continue to develop. Ekaterina Zaharieva assured Jadranka Joksimović that Bulgaria will continue to support Serbia on its path to EU accession. Minister Joksimović emphasized the benefits of the projects fulfilled with Bulgarian support. This year Bulgaria will provide financial assistance for projects for development in eight other countries from the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
