A photo exhibition titled Magic of the East is on display at the open-air gallery on the Lovers’ Bridge near the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. It presents the life, the culture and the nature of 17 Asian countries, including Vietnam, Kuwait, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, China, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates and Japan. The exhibition is part of the forthcoming festival of Asian culture which will be held on June 15 in the summer stadium and the adjacent alleys in Boris Garden downtown Sofia. The exhibition will be open for visitors until May 26 and the Asian Festival Sofia in June will offer visitors many dance, music and theatre performances, martial arts demonstrations, recreation of traditional rituals, culinary tastings, dance ateliers, yoga, board games and handiwork, as well as exhibition of souvenirs and household items.
