Bulgaria’s National Assembly unanimously adopted again the amendments to the State Property Act. 143 MPs rejected the 15th veto imposed by this country’s President Rumen Radev. The National Assembly adopted the amendments on May 15, in order to optimize and speed up the process of construction of significant national objects and encourage investments in the industrial sector. President Radev vetoed the amendments to the State Property Act. In his view, a balance between the public interest and the right to property, which is protected by the Constitution, was not reached, which creates the risk of delay of important infrastructure projects.
