President Radev visits Hungary

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev is paying an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of his counterpart János Áder. President Radev met representatives of the Bulgarian community in Hungary. Rumen Radev called on the Bulgarian community not only to preserve its national identity, but also to strengthen the ties between the Bulgarian and the Hungarian people. President Radev welcomed the initiative of the Bulgarian community in Hungary to declare October 19 a Day of Bulgaria-Hungary Friendship. The initiative enjoys unreserved support by the authorities of the two countries and has become a symbol of friendly relations between the Bulgarian and the Hungarian people.
