Bulgaria’s gross domestic product has doubled in the past 10 years. Exports increased 2.4 times and exports of IT products and outsourcing services increased 5 times, this country’s Deputy Premier Tomislav Donchev pointed out during the opening of the Plovdiv Economic Forum. It is time we lifted the bar higher and when we speak of investments and new manufactures we should have new targets and seek high added value, higher profits and salaries, Deputy Premier Donchev went on to say. We need strong education, public consensus and must avoid making mistakes in the public finances, in order to succeed, Tomislav Donchev further said. Bulgaria’s Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov announced raw data of the first trimester of 2019 which show that the national economy grew 4.8%. This is a prerequisite for good results at the end of the year, Minister Goranov pointed out.
