President Radev invites China’s state-owned enterprises to invest in Bulgaria

During his speech at the World Economic Forum in Dalian Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev invited the representatives of the state-owned enterprises in China to invest in his country. Bulgaria is a country with a key geostrategic location, which should not be underestimated. It is extremely important part of the Belt and Road initiative, President Radev underlined. Later, at a meeting with the Governor of the Chinese province Hubei President Radev discussed possible future projects of mutual interest in the field of transport infrastructure, power engineering, automotive industry, green energy, agriculture and IT technologies.

In Dalian President Rumen Radev also met with Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Bulgaria’s head of state Radev said that Bulgaria wants to continue to be an active participant at the World Economic Forum where strategies for the future of economy and social activities are formed and visions and solutions are offered.
