UN: Bulgaria is country with high level of human development

Bulgaria is among the countries with very high level of human development, BGNEs informs. This country places 52nd  out of 189 countries with 0,812 points in the Human Development Index, the 2019 Human Development Report prepared by the Development Office of the United Nations Development Programme measuring human development based on the 2018 indicators reads. Several countries in the Balkans- Slovenia (24th), Cyprus (31st), Greece (32nd) and Croatia (46th) are ahead of Bulgaria and Montenegro, Romania and Turkey are behind Bulgaria in the ranking.
