No outbreaks of flu are expected during the Christmas holidays in Bulgaria, the Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev announced. No late flu epidemics until April next year are expected either, the health expert added. Bulgaria ran out of flu vaccines, because the interest this year was much bigger and only 120,000 vaccines were imported. The market demand was for 250,000 vaccines, Bulgaria’s Chief State Health Inspector Kunchev said and promised that next year the import of influenza vaccines will be bigger.
