As of March 25, WizzAir will suspend all flights to and from Varna as this measure will be effective until May 1, 2020, the low-cost airline has announced. The airline is taking this step in order to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
All passengers with flight bookings will be automatically notified by email if they have made their reservations directly at wizzair.com. These customers will be credited with the amount of their tickets at a premium of 20% on top in their WIZZ accounts. The sum can be used over the next 24 months to purchase Wizz Air products and services.
Those affected by the flight cancellations may also opt for a full refund in cash, however this will require more time. They will be informed in a separate email what steps to take.
