Bulgaria's first Civil Society Development Council to be elected in online voting

The electronic voting for the election of the first Civil Society Development Council in Bulgaria will start on April 28. The vote will continue for 10 working days on the web platform of the government.
There are 379 non-profit NGOs applying for the council as well as 123 civic organizations. Each voter can approve a maximum of 14 organizations.
The new Civil Society Development Council will be an advisory body to the government and will be involved in developing and implementing policies to support civil society. It will deliver opinions on legal acts and documents relating to civic organizations.
