35 people have been arrested on Tuesday in connection with an investigation against Bulgaria’s businessman Vasil Bozhkov who is now in Dubai. The special operation of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior and the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office began early this morning in several Bulgarian towns. The detainees are Vasil Bozhkov’s guards. Some of them are former employees of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, including the Bulgarian Special Counter Terrorist Unit (SOBT). The Prosecutor’s Office has not yet pressed charges against the detainees and decided whether to demand permanent arrest for some of them.
