Acting President and Vice President can be investigated, but they cannot be charged. This has become clear from the decision of the Constitutional Court, which received a request by the Prosecutor General to interpret the text of the Constitution related to the immunity of the head of state. According to the Constitutional Court, during their term in office, the President and the Vice-President cannot be not subject to procedural actions that are directed against them and directly affect their personal rights and freedoms. This also means that no special intelligence means can be used against them or DNA samples taken from them, BNR reported, referring to the court decision.
