The future of nuclear energy in Bulgaria will be the topic of an online discussion organized by the Bulgarian Atomic Forum. Specialists from other energy and business organizations will take part.
The starting point for the discussion are the results of a sociological survey by Trend Agency, showing that 60% of Bulgarians believe that Bulgaria should develop nuclear energy, while 10% are against it.
For half of the respondents, the price of electricity should be the leading criterion in choosing a source of electricity.
Three-quarters of respondents admit that they are not familiar with the European Commission's "Green Deal" project for the bloc's energy development by 2050.
