Golden Belt 2020 martial arts award ceremony to take place tonight

The Golden Belt award ceremony of the National Martial Arts Association begins at 8 PM tonight.

It is taking place for the third consecutive year at the initiative of the chairman of the Association and of the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union shihan Ivo Kamenov.

In view of the epidemic situation in the country, the event is in TV format and will be broadcast live from the studio of Bulgaria ON AIR .

Minister of Sports Krasen Kralev will be a special guest at the ceremony and will bestow the Golden Belt statuettes. The categories are: “Best athlete – men”, “Best athlete – women”, “Best coach”, “Resounding victory”, and “Devotion to tradition”.

Each one of the 12 federations, members of the National Martial Arts Association, will award individual prizes to their fighters. A total of 40,000 athletes, members of the 12 federations will compete for the awards.
