Specialized Criminal Court examines case against former Health Minister Moskov

On December 16, the Specialized Criminal Court will examine the case against Bulgaria’s former Minister of Health Petar Moskov. He and three other defendants are charged with accepting a donation from the Turkish Ministry of Health of 100,000 children’s Pentaxim vaccines and 100,000 units of Euvax vaccines against hepatitis B in 2015, which were not approved for usage in Bulgaria.

In Petar Moskov’s view, such vaccines had been imported in Bulgaria before and the lawsuit against him is about EUR 117,000 VAT paid by the Health Ministry to the state, BGNES reported.
