Environmentalists donate "Christmas tree" covered in dust to Ministry of Energy

Environmentalists from Greenpeace have symbolically presented the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy with a "Christmas tree" covered with dust, which is a daily occurrence for the people in the town of Galabovo because of the highly polluting coal-fired power plant Brickel located there.
Environmentalists explain that with the "Christmas tree" they want to remind the Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova that the ministry has not started to develop a much-needed plan for the transition of Bulgarian regions from coal to cleaner energy sources, in line with the European Union's plan for low carbon economy and energy by 2050
