Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has presented high state awards to prominent Bulgarians in the fields of medicine, science and education.
Prof. Dr. Nikola Vladov and Prof. Dr. Georgi Todorov have received the Stara Planina Order for their achievements in medicine. The Stara Planina Order was also bestowed to Prof. Ivan Nichev for his outstanding contribution in the field of cinema, to Prof. D-r Angel Dimitrov for developing the relations of Bulgaria with Western Balkan countries. to Prof. Ivaylo Znepolski for exceptional contribution in the field of culture and humanitarian science.
Historian Prof. Plamen Pavlov received the Order of "Sts. Cyril and Methodius”. Atanasia Stoianova received the same order for her great merits in the sphere of education of the Bulgarian minority in her native Moldova. The "Sts.
