Bulgaria made some mistakes in the management of the coronavirus pandemic and panic-mongering was the biggest mistake of all, Professor Mira Kozhuharovaadviser to this country‘s caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov, said for Nova TV. In her view, the Covid-19 pandemic is not over and Bulgaria is likely to witness increased circulation of the virus in the autumn of 2021. "I hope that more and more people will be willing to receive Covid-19 vaccines. "Now is the right time for the elderly people to do their children a favor and get vaccinated. Thus, our children will stay calm." noted Professor Kozhuharova.

Bulgaria should speed up vaccine rollout, this country‘s Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev said for bTV. He called for a large-scale information campaign aimed to persuade people to get vaccinated.
