At the official opening of the National Sheep Breeder Festival in Bulgaria, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krum Nedelkov, pointed out that the Bulgarian livestock sector needed support and modernization in order to reach European level. Work is being done to provide financial mechanisms, but this happens at the backdrop of a limited budget that cannot be updated by the caretaker government. Nedelkov added that analyzes of the results of inspections in livestock farms were forthcoming. The aim is for the next management of the Ministry to have clarity, so that identified errors are not repeated.
