Boxer Stoyka Krasteva begins with a victory in Tokyo 2020

Two-times Olympic boxing champion Stoyka Krasteva qualified for the 8th  finals at the tournament in Tokyo 2020. She won a difficult victory in the 51 kg. category with 3 to 2 votes versus Nguyen Thi Tam, Vietnam.

35-year old Krasteva admitted this had not been her best match but said she was happy to have started out with a victory. Krasteva’s next match from the 8th finals will be against Virginia Fuchs, USA.
