Plamen Bonev (De La Bona) and his new song Forever

Photo: library

We have been seeing Plamen Bonev on the stage in Bulgaria more and more often in recent years – he is one of few Bulgarian performers to have taken part in TV music shows abroad.

Born in Chirpan, after finishing school in Kurdzhali he left for Plovdiv where he studied economics. There, he joined a band and started giving concerts. He later took part in the English X Factor, which prepared him for his successful appearance in The Voice of Finland. There, his mentor was Michael Monroe, and Plamen himself went by the name of Plamen De La Bona, a name he has kept.

The singer is the author of the music and the lyrics of his latest song, Zavinagi (Forever). Plamen was also involved in the arrangement, together with Andriano Angelov.
