The Central Election Commission, CEC, has notified caretaker Prime minister Stefan Yanev of the existence of a problem with the storage of the voting machines. The CEC states that it reported the problem a month ago and demands that it be urgently resolved.
“The contract for the storage of the machines between the companies Cargo Partner and Ciela Norma expired on 30 September, 2021. As no contract has been concluded after that date for the storage of the machines, we have been informed that, given there is no trade contract settling these relations, the machines will be moved out of the Cargo Partners warehouse as of 1 November, 2021,” the Central Election Commission letter to the prime minister reads.
