Eurostat: About half of Bulgarians eat fruit and vegetables every day

47.8% of Bulgarians eat 1 to 4 portions of fruit and vegetables each day. Only 5% of Bulgarians eat five or more portions and according to this indicator Bulgarians are in the penultimate place in the EU chart. This is shown by Eurostat data for 2019, published today.

The highest daily intake of 5 or more portions in the EU has been registered in Ireland (33% of the population).
