"Shelter in the Rain" is one of the most popular Bulgarian songs from the repertoire of the beloved pop and jazz singer Vasil Petrov. The music is by Vasil Parmakov, the author of the text is Milcho Spassov.

Recently, "Shelter in the Rain" has been given a new incarnation thanks to the young Bulgarian singer Damyan Popov. It is included in his new album “Tvoeto momche” (Your Boy), which presents his iconic songs, as well as his duets with Zhana Bergendorff, Divna, Svetla Ivanova and others.

"I rarely release covers, but Shelter in the Rain is a very powerful song. It stuck in my heart when I was at the conservatory and even then I said to myself that if I had the opportunity, I would sing it," says Damyan.

The new arrangement is the work of Stamen Yanev.
