Weather forecast for Bulgaria – Tuesday, March 8

Cold weather and snow expected on March 8

Minimum temperatures on Tuesday will fluctuate between minus 4°C and 1°C, for Sofia- minus 4°C. Maximum temperatures will range between 0°C and 5°C, for Sofia-around 0°C. Cloudy weather is in the forecast for March 8. Light snow is expected in many parts of the country. There will be heavy snow in Rila and the Rhodope Mountains, where snow depth will increase with another 20 centimeters.

The weather in the mountains will be also cloudy. Moderate northerly and northwesterly winds are expected. Snowdrifts are expected in the mountain passes. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be minus 4°C, at 2,000 meters- around minus 9°C.

Temperatures will continue to fall on Wednesday.
