Bulgaria and North Macedonia have not reached an agreement on the price of electricity that is to be exported to North Macedonia next winter. At a meeting of the working group held in Sofia, North Macedonia’s representatives asked for a price that is at least 15% below the price at the power exchange market. In other words, the requested price is lower than EUR 400 per megawatt-hour. The negotiations within the working group will continue after September 19.
