Foreign Ministry officials are preparing for strike action

Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are preparing for strike action because of the extremely low wages in the system, BGNES reported. According to them, the preparation for strike action is completely depoliticized and aims only at securing a decent pay, commensurate with the high qualification and professionalism of employees in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 According to Foreign Ministry officials, the systematic underfunding of the ministry and its overseas representations has led to a staffing crisis
