11 people were killed and 15 injured on Saturday evening when "volunteers" who were undergoing training before being sent to Ukraine were shot at a training ground in Russia. The attack, described by Russian authorities as an act of terrorism, was carried out by two citizens of a former Soviet republic. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attackers were also killed.

Representatives of Alliance 90/The Greens, which is part of the ruling coalition in Germany, pointed out that the supply of weapons to Ukraine should be increased. Germany should help Ukraine as much as it can "because these weapons save human lives," Co-leader of the party Omid Nouripour told the party's congress in Bonn on Saturday.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also defended the government's support for Ukraine, Deutsche Welle reported. This week, Ukraine received the first of four promised IRIS-T SLM air defense systems from Germany.
