A 28-year-old British citizen, wanted by Interpol in connection with an investigation into the preparation of terrorist acts, was detained today in the Bulgarian village of Lyubenovo. He was arrested by special police officers in a private property near an organic farm in the village, BNT reported.

Illegally owned weapons, ammunition and materials for making home-made bombs were found in his home in the UK. He arrived in Bulgaria in November 2022 and even announced on social networks that he was leaving Great Britain for good and did not intend to return.
