"I decided not to run for Mayor of Sofia in the next local elections", said Yordanka Fandakova, who has been the mayor of the capital city since 2009, Nova TV reported.

In Yordanka Fandakova’s words, she made this decision a long time ago, but was announcing it only now, because she did not want her team to lose motivation. The longest serving mayor of Bulgaria’s capital, nominated by GERB party, refused to comment on topic related to the party's next candidate.
