Already before the third cabinet-forming mandate was handed out, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) had highlighted several key priorities including Bulgaria’s Schengen membership, the country's accession to the Eurozone, implementation of EU programmes, judicial reform and financial stability.

In his words, the third cabinet-forming mandate, which was handed to the socialists, is not doomed to failure, if the parties engage in dialogue.
