The words that marked 2022 are "war", "inflation", "elections" and "Ukraine". This is shown by the audience's vote in the large-scale survey conducted by the literacy platform "How do you spell it?". After them in the top ten come the words "gas", "volunteers", "small interest", "refugees", "paper coalition".

In the campaign entitled "Words of the year with How do you spell it?", which was implemented for the second year in a row, everyone had the opportunity to vote for the most used words and expressions for Bulgaria in the past year.

The most used words in the media are "Bulgaria", "Russia", "Ukraine", "war", "Europe", "USA", "politics", "minister", "price", "child", "aid" .
