President Radev to present high state awards to prominent scholars and cultural figures

Today, President Rumen Radev is to bestow the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius first class and a presidential badge of honour on prominent figures in the fields of culture, science and education.

Petar Goranov will receive the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius first class for his merit in the field of culture.

Father Alexander Cikirik will receive the order for his merit in preserving Bulgaria's cultural and historical heritage in the town of Edirne, Turkiye.

Professor Diana Petkova will also receive the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius first class. Rumen Radev is to bestow the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius on Professor Dimitar Dimitrakov for his contribution to the development of Nephrology.

President Radev is to bestow the presidential badge of honour on engineer Todor Toshev and musician Ivo Papazov-Ibryama.
