Rapporteurs from the Venice Commission come to Sofia for changes in the Constitution

Rapporteurs from the European Commission for Democracy through Law, known as the Venice Commission, are visiting Sofia on 14 and 15 September. They will discuss with representatives of Bulgarian institutions the draft amendments to the Constitution submitted to the Parliament at the end of July by GERB-SDS, PP-DB and MRF.

The rapporteurs from the Council of Europe's advisory body on constitutional issues will meet with representatives of the Supreme Judicial Council, Justice Minister Atanas Slavov, President Rumen Radev and members of the parliamentary Constitutional Affairs Committee.
