A memorial service was held in memory of all Bulgarian fallen soldiers

On the occasion of Archangel's All Souls' Day, Bishop Polikarp of Belogradchik held a memorial service at the Military Mausoleum - ossuary of the Central Sofia Cemetery. 

The ceremony was attended by Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev, Minister of Defence Todor Tagarev and the Chief of Defence Adm. Emil Eftimov. 

In memory of the soldiers who died while performing their military duty, wreaths were presented on behalf of the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel, the National Assembly, the Bulgarian Red Cross and other organizations.
The Bulgarian soldiers who died for the Motherland were honored with funeral services and military honors in all the country's garrisons, the Ministry of Defence announced. With church services, laying of wreaths and flowers, and military rituals at Bulgarian military cemeteries and monuments abroad, the memory was honoured of the servicemen who died in the wars of national liberation and unification, in the Balkan, Inter-Allied, First and Second World Wars, as well as the servicemen who died in peacekeeping operations and in the performance of their military duty in peacetime. 

Representative units of the Ground Forces, the Air Force and the Navy, the Joint Special Operations Command, the Logistics Support Command and the higher military schools participated in the rituals in memory of the fallen Bulgarian military officers.
