Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva won the women’s doubles title at the 2023 Welsh International Badminton Championships with a prize fund of USD 15,000. The tournament took place in Cardiff, Wales, from November 28 to December 2, and was also a qualifier for the 2023 Summer Olympics in Paris.

In the final, the three-time European champions defeated Natasja P. Anthonisen (Denmark) and Alyssa Tirtosentono (Netherlands) 24:22, 21:11.

In the capital city of Wales, Stoeva sisters, led by Bulgaria’s national team head coach Petya Nedelcheva-Hranova, played the third consecutive final after Dublin (Ireland) and Manama (Bahrain). They won four titles this year, including the 2023 European Games in Krakow (Poland) and the tournaments in Glasgow and Bahrain.
