In the month of love, singer Nina Nikolina has prepared two events - a premiere concert called "Love Folk Songs" on February 16, in which she will also present a new single.
The performance follows the trend of "Jazz & Traditions" - songs interpreted in current musical genres with jazz, funk, R&B, electronic and dance sound. For the concert on February 16, the ethno-jazz formation has prepared a new repertoire, specially selected for St. Valentine's Day. They say that the folk songs describe love in the most poetic way. A love song from Albania and one from Bosnia are also included as the singer will perform them with their original lyrics in Albanian and Bosnian.
Like all the band's concerts, this one will also be a diverse interactive performance with many surprises for the audience.
Nina Nikolina is especially happy that at least three generations of listeners come to her concerts.
"As an artist, I believe that one should educate their audience. I am very happy that the audience really pays attention to folklore and started knowing what real folklore is. Different generations agree with the fact that this is a tradition that we need in order to know our roots. I feel really happy for every young person who pays attention and is interested in folklore. I've been working for many years to make this folklore accessible for them."
On February 16, the concert-spectacle "Love Folk Songs" will also hint at folklore eroticism. The humorous song "Zaspala e Baba Dora" will be performed, which is the fourth single from Nina Nikolina's second concert album "Jazz & Traditions VOL. 2". The arrangement is by Kalin Velyov, Martin Tashev and Yasen Velchev.
